Toa Metru Onewa
Six Matoran of Metru Nui were selected by Lhikan, that city's last remaining Toa, to become heroes and free Metru Nui from the schemes of Makuta.
Toa Metru of stone and guardian of Po-Metru, Onewa is strong-willed and stubborn. No matter the odds, Onewa will never admit defeat – he always finds a way to win. When his own strength and agility are not enough, he uses his proto piton tools and his Great Mask of Mind Control.
After saving the Matoran of Metru Nui and bringing them to Mata Nui, the Toa Metru sacrificed their powers to awaken the Matoran and turned into Turaga.
